Skip busy grocery stores, cutdown on meal delivery plastic packaging and support local farmers — A custom pork share or roaster pig from Alluvial Farms lets you enjoy fresh food grown minutes from your table while supporting local farmers who care about our environment.
USDA On-Farm Slaughter
We are dedicated to providing the most natural life for our animals, including their end-of-life process. We do not transport our animals before slaughter. We have partnered with the Island Grown Farmers Cooperative for USDA inspected on-farm slaughter, providing a quick and painless end-of-life process for our pigs. Because we have prioritized animal well-being, we have minimized the amount of natural stress hormones that animals release during transportation, resulting in better tasting meat for you.
USDA Artisan Butchery
We age your meat for four days to enhance the flavor of the pasture raised and milk finished pig. After aging, our USDA inspected artisan butchers hand-cut each piece of your share, label it for easy identification, and vacuum seal it so you can enjoy this one-of-a-kind meat with your family anytime of the year.
We take pride in our meat, but take greater pride in the connection we build with each of our customers. We hand deliver your share, help you pack your freezer, and share the full story of your food.
